Terms of Service
These Terms of Service stipulate the conditions of use of the services provided by JSY TRANSFER (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) on this website. Dear customer, please use this service in accordance with these terms.
Article 1 (Reservation)
1) The reservation deadline is 5 days before the date of use. If you wish to make a reservation after the deadline, please contact us directly. Please note that vehicle availability may be limited during peak seasons.
To avoid miscommunication and loss of information, we do not accept reservations over the phone.
2) We are not responsible if the information provided is incorrect.
3) Per confirmed reservation is solely for one private group of passengers. The confirmed reservation cannot be shared with other confirmed groups of passengers.
*Airport Pickup (Arrival)
If the group arrives in two separate arrival flights, please decide on ONE pick-up time and location
in New Chitose Airport. Kindly provide ALL estimated flight time of arrival (ETA), flight numbers,
passenger’s names and number of people arriving on each flight.
*Airport Drop Off (Departure)
If the group comprises of multiple departing flights, kindly advise ONLY ONE alighting location in New Chitose Airport.
Article 2 (Airport Pickup)
*For pickup from New Chitose Airport, the estimated pickup time is 30 minutes after arrival of domestic flight/60 minutes after arrival of international flight.
1) Please be sure to board and depart within 20 minutes after meeting up with JSY staff at the airport.
An additional charge of JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof applied if passengers take more than 20 minutes to depart after meeting up with JSY staff.
2) If passengers’ flight is delayed, canceled, changed, miss flight or “No show”, please contact JSY
as soon as possible. We will try to reschedule the pickup time whenever possible. Kindly note the
rescheduled time may not be able to accommodate to passenger’s desired pickup time due to
prearranged fleet schedule. Please take note, amendment and/or other charges (example: late
night pickup charge, et cetera) may apply should the reschedule for a new pickup time is possible.
If passengers are unable to use the rescheduled pickup services provided by JSY due to flight
change, flight delay, flight cancel, miss flight or no show, JSY will not be held responsible, and no
refunds or alternative arrangements will be offered.
Please advise passengers to contact the airline or travel insurance company regarding refunds.
3) JSY is not responsible for/or liable for flight change, flight delay, flight cancel, miss flight, no show or delays due to traffic congestion, traffic accidents, road closures, weather, force majeure, customs, immigration, or any risks regarding passengers’ travel plans. If passengers are unable to use JSY services due to any of the above occurrences, no refunds or alternative services will be offered. JSY is not obligated to provide alternative services in any of the aforementioned circumstances.
4) If passengers’ flight is delayed/changed and the arrival time at the airport is beyond JSY business
hours, we will not be able to provide the transfer. Our transfer service operates in accordance with
the Road Transportation Act and Labor Standards Act. Drivers are required to abide by the
mandatory driving duration and travel distances. We are not obligated to provide the transfer
services or issue a refund if the drivers exceed the regulations limit due to the passengers’ flight
change, delay, cancel or miss flight.
Article 3 (Hotel/Property Pickup)
For transfer heading to New Chitose Airport, we will calculate the pickup time from passenger’s hotel/accommodation to the airport so that passengers arrive at the airport at least 1 hour before the departure of the domestic flight / 2 hours before the departure of the international flight.
*ETD: Estimated Time of Departure
1) Passengers should be ready for departure at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time and wait at the pickup location. If passengers are late for more than 20 minutes from the scheduled pickup time, a waiting fee of JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof per vehicle will be charged.
If the passengers’ delay caused the driver’s working hours exceeded the limit stipulated in the Labor Standards Act and affect the next transfer to be delayed or canceled, the current transfer service will, in effect, be canceled. No refund given. We are not obligated to wait or provide alternative services to passengers who are late for the scheduled pickup.
2) If there are any changes to passengers’ reservation details (boarding location, number of passengers, pick-up time, flight change, etc.), please inform us immediately to avoid any misunderstanding. Kindly note, we may not be able to reschedule another pickup due to prior booking. No refund nor alternative services will be offered.
Article 4 (Vehicles)
1) Based on the number of passengers and luggage, our vehicles range from small vans to large buses. In some cases, we may outsource services to other transportation companies. Details (year, model, etc.) of the vehicles are unavailable. The images of the vehicles displayed on the website are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual vehicle.
2) The selected vehicle type reserved by the passenger may at time altered. Substitute of vehicles will be based on our reservation volumes. Should such situation arise, vehicle of the same range or higher range may be replaced (e.g. a standard taxi maybe replaced by the next vehicle range) at no extra charge.
3) For microbuses and large buses, due to road and/or weather condition, we may not be able to pick up or drop off passengers to their desired location. In such cases, passengers need to get on or get off the bus at a different location. We will advise once the reservation is confirmed.
Article 5 (Additional Fee)
JSY does not accept cash payments from passengers. Additional charges will be billed to the person/agent who made the reservation.
1) Extension Fee: JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof
2) Supermarket Stop: JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof
3) Additional Stop (less than 30 mins): JPY6,000 per stop
(We may decline the request if the day schedule is tight or during peak period. If stop exceed 30 mins, extension fee of JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof shall be imposed)
4) Late Night/Early Morning Surcharge: JPY12,000 (for departure time between 19:00hrs(7PM)
to 07:00hrs(7AM)
5) Child Seat: JPY2,000 per child seat.
6) Vehicle Cleaning Fee / Left Behind Trash (Disposal) Fee: from JPY15,000
7) Lost and Found handling fee (exclude cash-on-delivery courier fee): JPY3,000
8) Private Jet Arrival Pickup Extension Fee: First 60minutes from the provided ETA (Estimated
Time of Arrival) is free, subsequent wait time will be charged at JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
1) JSY may alter passenger’s scheduled transfer time if required due to flight delays, weather/road conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. No refund nor any kind of compensation shall be given.
2) For microbuses and large buses, it may not be possible to access to the desired destination due to road/weather conditions, etc. In this case, passengers will get on or get off at another location other than the designated location.
3) If, for some reasons not outlined in these Terms and Conditions, we are unable to provide transportation, we will ensure a suitable solution for many prepaid fees. In the unlikely event that we or our service providers are unable to pick up the customer at the scheduled date and time due to unforeseen circumstances, JSY will not be responsible for any additional costs such as accommodation, taxi fares, train/ bus fares or any other costs involved.
4) Due to the characteristics of the region, JSY will not be held responsible if transfer service is unavailable or inoperable due to natural disasters or bad weather (earthquakes, typhoons, floods, heavy rain, blizzard, heavy snow, etc.).
5) We are not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, direct/indirect damage, injury, death, etc. caused by third parties, natural disasters, etc.
6) We are exempt by law from using child seats, but we do offer child seats as an option. Child seat is subject to availability and upon request. There is no guarantee that child seats will be provided for the transfer journey.
Article 7 (Insurance)
Our vehicles and the vehicles we used are insured. The total compensation amount in the event of injury/death to a passenger cannot exceed the value of the insurance policy coverage. The maximum compensation we will indemnify for any passenger claim (non-injury) relating to services is 100% of the transfer fee.
Article 8 (Cancellation Policy)
The cancellation policy is as stated in this section.
We do not accept cancellations by third parties and are not responsible for accommodation charges, taxi fares, rail fares or bus fares if the passengers choose an alternative mode of transportation after cancellation. In such cases, refund is unavailable for any cancellation nor postpone of transfer service usage.

Article 9 (Amendment)
We reserved the right to cancel or change confirmed reservation at any time prior to service. All request amendment is subject to availability.
If you wish to change/amend the confirmed reservation 6 days prior to the transfer date, an amendment fee will be charged.
Amendment Charge
Pickup time change request (6 days prior to transfer date):
-For pickup time change less than 2 hours, an amendment fee of JPY5,000 for every confirmed change.
-For pickup time change more than 2 hours, an amendment charge of 50% of the transfer fee for every confirmed change.
Vehicle type change request (6 days prior to transfer date):
-If there is a change of vehicle request, 6 days prior to transfer date, the amendment charge will include cancellation fee of reserved vehicle PLUS transfer charge of the new vehicle. The new booking of vehicle is subject to availability.
Note
If you need to amend/cancel the confirmed reservation, please contact us within business hours, 09:00-18:00 (Japan Time Zone). Message received after business hours, 09:00 – 18:00 (Japan Time Zone) is considered message received on the next business day. Cancellation fees will be charged based on the next business day.
Article 10 (Others)
1) Day Tour – chartered bus can generally be used for a maximum of 9 hours per day. Overtime charge is JPY12,000 per hour or part thereof. Expressway tolls, driver’s accommodation costs and parking fees are not included in the transfer fee. Chartered bus is solely for one group of passengers’ usage. Carpooling with other groups as a means of transportation is not permitted.
2) For the comfort for all passengers and to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, consumption of food or beverages in the vehicle is not permitted, except for bottled mineral water. The driver reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the service if this policy is not followed.
Should any interior of the vehicle be soiled/dirtied, a minimum cleaning fee of at least JPY15,000 shall be charged to passengers.
Additionally, if passengers leave any trash behind after the transfer service, passengers will be charged JPY15,000. JSY will not be responsible if passengers’ personal belongings or luggage are soiled, damaged or lost while using JSY services.
3) If passengers forgets his/her belongings in the vehicle and the driver has departed from the drop-off location, JSY is not obliged to deliver the item. If passenger wishes to have the found item(s) delivered, passenger will pay for the full courier fee (cash-on-delivery payment mode) and a handling fee of JPY3,000 to JSY. Please note, the courier service is limited within Japan.
4) All services provided by JSY are performed in Japan and are subject to Japanese laws. If the passenger booked through an agent or directly with us, the booking will be subject to the agent’s or our terms and conditions.
5) Passengers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance that covers all risks involved during the journey, not limited to delay, cancellation and change of travel plan, etc.
6) In accordance with Japanese law, JSY is not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, indirect damage, injury or death caused by third parties, natural disasters, etc.
Article 10 (Disagree to the Terms and Conditions)
If the passenger disagree to the terms and conditions, kindly seek other alternate travel arrangements.
